Ingredients:
-
½ cup Oats
-
½ cup organic mixed nuts (I used a mix of walnuts & cashews)
-
10 Medjool Dates - seeds removed
-
1/3 cup Earth Fed Muscle salted caramel protein powder
-
1 scoop Earth Fed Muscle collagen (*can put more protein powder in as a swap)
-
¼ cup Natural, runny Peanut Butter or Sugar free caramel
-
1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
-
1 tablespoon water
-
optional: toppings! I used crushed up nuts for 1/2 and shredded, unsweetened coconut for 1/2
Recipe:
Remove the pits from your dates. Soak your dates in VERY hot water for 10-15 minutes.
Add the Medjool dates, nuts, oats, protein powder, collagen, nut butter and water to a food processor OR blender and pulse until it forms into a sticky dough.
Using your hands, roll into bite-sized balls, and then roll into a plate of desired toppings (or eat as is!)
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
