This warm and gooey dessert combines your choice of sliced apples with a simple topping. For a softer crisp, slice apples thinly. If you’d like more crunch, keep those slices thick! Best if served immediately. Store covered.

Earth Fed Muscle Whey Back Vanilla Protein Apple Crisp

Ingredients:
5 medium apples
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tsp apple pie spice (or combination of cinnamon and nutmeg)
2 scoops EFM Whey Back Vanilla
1.5 c plain instant or quick oats
1 tbsp apple pie spice
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 tbsp melted butter

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350*
Spray or grease a pie pan or baking dish
Core and thinly slice apples
Mix 2 tbsp melted butter and 2 tsp apple pie spice
Coat apple slices with butter and spice mix in a large bowl
Spread apple slices evenly in greased pie pan or baking dish

In a large bowl combine all remaining ingredients - resultant mixture will be grainy
Spread mixture over apple slices, allowing some to fall between slices
Bake for 30-35 minutes until top is slightly crisped and apples are gooey but still firm.
